Dublin is located only a 15-minute drive from Columbus, Ohio’s capital, providing easy access to many Columbus attractions such as the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium and Wyandot Lake Adventure Park. Sports fans cannot miss visiting Ohio State University, which is home to the Ohio Buckeyes, competing in college basketball, baseball and lacrosse. Besides sporting events, visitors flock Dublin to experience the Spirit of Dublin Irish Festival, where original artwork and an array of international performances from Ireland and the United States are featured on six stages. All over the city, Arts in Public Places features a series of sculptures in open areas such as Leatherlips, a 12-foot-high sculpture honoring a Wyandot American Indian chief. As one of the oldest communities in Central Ohio, Dublin embraces its National Historic District, boasting Irish imports, jewelry shops, home furniture stores, authentic antiques and fine yarns.
Tourist Attractions

Art in Public Places started in 1989 by the City of Dublin and Dublin Arts Council to establish a public art tour throughout the city and to enhance the cultural experience for Dublin residents and visitors.
